Elijah Snow is hired by Jakita Wagner to join Planetary, a four-man team (3 field agents and one mysterious backer known as "the Fourth Man")looking to uncover the hidden history of the world as “mystery archeologists." Their first mission: to explore a man-made cavern in the Adirondacks, the last known destination of Doc Brass, an adventurer from the 1930s and 1940s.

A brutal crime is carried out, but the criminals themselves are gunned down while trying to escape. Their killer and his fearfully accurate guns fade away into the night...literally.

A terrorist group calling themselves "The Snowflake" bombs an empty Hark Corporation office building, unearthing a mysterious alien structure embedded in the ground.

Elijah Snow and Doctor Axel Brass have a lengthy conversation on the grounds of the Planetary hospital where the latter is recuperating after his 50-year ordeal.

Jakita and Snow make their way into the Four Voyagers Plaza laboratories of the mysterious individuals known as The Four.

Jakita receives word that Jack Carter is dead, which has a different effect on each team member. En route to the funeral, Snow learns that Carter, a former lover of Jakita's, was Planetary's window on England in the '80s, a period during which a series of strange occurrences occurred.

The Planetary helicopter touches down at an abandoned military base somewhere in the Southwest, where a lone woman is waiting for them.

In 1997, a military force descends upon a crashed rocketship in the English countryside. They retrieve it and secure it in a hidden underground facility.

A billowing red cape. An oddly shaped blue lantern. A pair of golden bracelets. These objects are a complete mystery to the Planetary personnel who discover them while digging through the abandoned New York laboratory of the sinister group known as The Four.

It's 1969, and a woman in white, Bride, and her best men have S.T.O.R.M. operative John Stone at their mercy.

Elijah Snow calls a meeting of the Planetary field team, despite the protests of both Jakita Wagner and The Drummer. Snow's cold demeanor silences them.

It's 1919, Germany, and Elijah Snow makes his way up a storm-swept mountain to a broken-down castle.

Elijah and Jakita visit Larissa Chase, to “right some wrongs” as Elijah puts it. Then, the team is off to Australia, to stop the Four from activating Dreamtime as a way to get into the Multiverse.

It's 1933, and a haggard Elijah Snow travels up a thin strip of river through a dense jungle, searching for the Lost City of Opak-Re.

Snow meets up with John Stone on a park bench in Texas. Stone clues Snow in on a space capsule orbiting Earth for more than a hundred years which will land at a certain location in a few days.

The Planetary team is in Zambia at a secret base. A strange alien construct has been found floating in space, past the range of conventional crewed spacecraft.

As Planetary watches via camera from Earth, a small ship docks near the mammoth construct. A space suited figure emerges and disappears into the craft.

Elijah Snow goes to see a magician (she prefers the term "scientist") he has not seen in many years, telling her The Four are now Three, and he's looking for ways to remove the rest of them from his picture.

William Leather's Texas Ranger grandfather had inherited, along with his brother, a silver mine, a fact that got the both of them kidnapped and tortured by the villainous Dowling gang.

The Drummer and Jakita are having coffee at an outdoor cafe, talking about Elijah Snow. Jakita knows that Snow isn't telling anyone they've captured Leather, while The Drummer knows that Leather has been moved to a secret location.

Following the conflict against The Four resolved and war with inter-dimensional alien conquerors averted, the Planetary organization is harnessing the knowledge of Randall Dowling for the benefit of all mankind.
